Hi, my name is Ed Ranum of Ed Ranum-Piano Tuning in Fort Collins, CO. I have been involved in various areas of music most of my life. While in high school and college, I entertained for the USO and Bowens Fanfare. I was a member of a traveling dance band while at UNC where I earned a degree in Music Education with piano as my main instrument. Following college, I taught middle and high school instrumental music for 27 years. During this time, I completed a course in piano tuning from a professional tuner in Denver and received my certification. I tuned part time while teaching school and after retiring from the public schools, I became a full time tuner. I am a proud member of the Piano Technicians Guild.
